Research Assistants
are responsible for recruiting, screening, and collecting data from the families participating in the study. Research assistants also contact families every 3 months to keep them informed of their progress in the study. Importantly, a research assistant’s main job is to collect data as objectively as possible. In fact, we don’t even let them know which treatment group each family has been placed in because it could bias their work!
